The Monterey Bay Metal Arts Guild announces a call for artists to exhibit in a gallery show Adornment: new work from Monterey Bay Metal Arts Guild members at the Z Folio Gallery in Monterey, CA 93940. December 4, 2015 – January 4, 2016 Reception: Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 3 pm to 5 PM
The theme Adornment may be interpreted as you wish. A little research on the meaning of the word might inspire you. Each artist may submit up to two new pieces of jewelry or small sculpture not previously shown in a Guild exhibit.
The artists’ reception was crowded and noisy, just like it should be. Jockeying our way up to the cases, we were immediately drawn to the display of bright shiny objects. It was fun to bump into people we hadn’t had a chance to talk with in a while, and ask about their pieces.
