The Monterey Bay Metal Arts Guild (MBMAG) presents Inspired, its annual winter exhibition hosted by ZFolio Gallery, a premier destination for fine art jewelry and contemporary design in downtown Monterey. Featuring the work of over 20 local artists from Santa Cruz, San José, and the greater Monterey Bay region, this show celebrates the creative spark that fuels contemporary metalwork and jewelry design.
From chain making and cloisonné enamel to casting and metal forming, the exhibition showcases an impressive range of traditional and experimental techniques. Each piece reflects the artist’s unique vision, how inspiration takes shape through process, materials, and imagination.
Inspired invites viewers to experience the intimacy of jewelry-scale art while exploring how creativity manifests through craftsmanship and innovation. Whether through fine goldsmithing, sculptural forms, or mixed-media adornment, the artists of MBMAG transform metal into stories of beauty, meaning, and connection.
The Monterey Bay Metal Arts Guild is a nonprofit organization of artists, educators, and makers dedicated to promoting the metal arts through exhibitions, workshops, and community engagement.
