The 3 day in-person workshop taught by artist and guild member Darci Shea Bogdan will focus on guided instruction through the cloisonné enamel process for creating stunning Landscapes.

Cloisonné is an ancient tradition that incorporates precious metals and colorful glass enamel to create stunning imagery. This workshop will focus on guided instruction through the Cloisonné enamel process. Students will also gain insight on design and color theory to enhance the outcome of their final project. The Art of Cloisonné is a tradition that has wowed the creative world for centuries. Most notably Cloisonné incorporates elegant imagery of the natural world in stunning displays on large receptacles such as vases, wall hangings, and on a smaller scale, jewelry. Cloisonné enamel allows the artist to tell detailed stories through form and color with the use of silver or gold and glass. The marriage of materials plays with light and textures giving the designs a three-dimensionality that brings the designs to life.
