We will have a Gift Shop within the show, for production pieces $150 retail and under. In the gift shop you can feature up to 6 pieces! Any work sold can be replaced with another piece.
We are excited to announce Nancy LT Hamilton (YouTube Metalsmith Queen), June 4-5, 2016. The workshop is ‘Riveted Portrait Pendant’, the price has been reduced to $225 plus a small kit fee. Register now, space is limited.
Students will learn to permanently transfer photographs or any image onto polymer clay and encapsulate it with rivets between sheets of textured metals. Students will also make a handmade chain for the pendant.
Quite a few years ago the MBMAG asked each of the members to create a small piece of work that would reflect their style. This piece would have a means to connect it on both ends and once linked together would become one chain of unique works.
We would like to start a new “Links Project” which would demonstrate each of our member’s style and personality.

The theme Adornment may be interpreted as you wish. A little research on the meaning of the word might inspire you. Each artist may submit up to two new pieces of jewelry or small sculpture not previously shown in a Guild exhibit.
The artists’ reception was crowded and noisy, just like it should be. Jockeying our way up to the cases, we were immediately drawn to the display of bright shiny objects. It was fun to bump into people we hadn’t had a chance to talk with in a while, and ask about their pieces.
